Honey bbq Texas toast Sandwich

Ingredients

  • 2 eggs

  • 3 cups of flour

  • Texas toast bread

  • honey bbq sauce

  • provolone cheese

  • skinless chicken breast

  • butter

  • vegetable oil

  • 2 cups of buttermilk


Seasonings (2tbps)

  • onion powder

  • garlic powder

  • chicken bullion

  • paprika

  • accent

  • tony chachere

  • mustard

  • Italian seasoning







DIRECTIONS

  1. Wash your hands

  2. season the skinless chicken breast strips with all 7 seasonings including the mustard and mill well. pour in buttermilk. set aside

  3. heat deep fryer 375 degrees

  4. In a small bowl mix eggs . set aside

  5. In a large bowl pour in flour ( 3cups). set aside

  6. Dip chicken into egg mixture then into flour mix then back into egg mixture then back into the flour giving it a double coating then into the fryer .repeat this process for the rest of the chicken.

  7. In a small sauce pan heat med-high. spread butter on both sides of Texas bread giving it a toast on both sides until golden brown.

  8. Spread honey bbq sauce on both sides of the Texas toast bread lay 3 chicken strips then lastly add provolone cheese.
